A little bit of frost was in the air this morning, or rather, on tons of spider webs! These Orb weaving spiders are everywhere in San Diego and one of them even showed up by my apartment (named Harry). They aren’t dangerous, unless you walk right into the web..
Again, I share my love of Jon Klassen.
Some of Jon Klassen’s concept pieces for the stop-motion film, Coraline. Everytime I see his art it just makes me want to play more with shapes and textures and lines and try to make it even half as interesting as his artwork.

I had more ice cream in two weeks in Europe than I’ve had in my life.

So much ice cream… it was so worth it.

I’ve been gone so long.
Ryan and I went to Europe.
London. Paris. Venice. Florence. Rome.
We went to Laduree in Paris with Nate and Aurelie.
The tearoom where they invented macaroons.
I loved Paris and all the food and sights.
But I miss London the most.
Best hot chocolate ever.
