Curio!  What a beautiful comic by Mai K. Nguyen… it’s still going, I can’t wait to read all of it!

Print Shop!

I’m excited to say that I finally have my print shop up and running on Etsy!

TanithIllustration.Etsy.com

Please stop by and check out some of my prints!  Also, I have a couple of Christmas cards available (for a limited time, obviously!).  And make sure to (heart) my store, so you can see when I upload new prints!

Again, I share my love of Jon Klassen.

Some of Jon Klassen’s concept pieces for the stop-motion film, Coraline.  Everytime I see his art it just makes me want to play more with shapes and textures and lines and try to make it even half as interesting as his artwork.

Judge a book by its cover.

At least, when you know the inside is as good as the outside.

Thank you Penguin Classics.

A clip from the film, Mary and Max, that Ryan and I watched a few nights ago.

Max as you can see, wasn’t shot in black and white, but rather, everything was designed in black and white. Mary, a little girl in Australia who randomly writes to Max as a pen pal, has a color palette all in sepia. It’s brilliant really. And also streaming on Netflix… so you have no excuses about not seeing it!

Welcome to the new home of the Blondish!

I’m shifting the Blondish over to Tumblr from Blogger, for a number of reasons.  There were things about Blogger that I liked over Tumblr, but in the end, I felt that the restrictions on Blogger’s image sizes and it’s frustrating posting options I’m shifting over to Tumblr, which has its own restrictions, but is beginning to look more along the lines of what I want the Blondish to be.  So over-all this is a positive move!  Yay!

In any case, if you wish to check out the many posts from before this last date, please feel free to go check them out here on the old site.
